Big Chairs Tour presents

The beautiful network of trails around Cossano Belbo has been enriched with original INstallations! The Big Chairs Tour is a new, fascinating and intuitive way to roam between Chairs, Swings and other “Giant Artworks” that will welcome you in a magical countryside where you can go back to being a child and feel like a Lilliputian!

THE BIG FAMILY

Three giant chairs and a frame make up The Big Family: it was the first Big Chairs artwork in Cossano Belbo and its purpose is to communicate to visitors that they are becoming part of our big family!

This tribute to typical Piedmontese straw chairs is located near the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Rovere in an ideal place for families!

Based on an idea by Mauro Noè and a contribution by Gianni Martini, was created by Ezio Grasso and Colombano Costruzioni in December 2017

The Giant Chair of Love is dedicated to lovers of all ages!

It is located at Bricco della Serra in Madonna della Rovere: here you will also find a very special Mailbox that will allow you to participate in a sweepstake with a romantic dinner up for grabs!

CHAIR OF THE BAGNET

In San Pietro di Cossano Belbo, at Bricco del Lupo there is the Giant Chair dedicated to the colors of the Italian flag!

The rustic artwork is located in a young Pinot vineyard, close to a historic Sorì di Moscato d’Asti D.O.C.G.! From here you can admire an enchanting panorama that goes from the Alta Langa, to Monferrato, to the Langa!

CHAIR OF THE EARTH

The Giant Chair of the Earth is located along the Sentiero Masino not far from Scorrone.

This artwork is dedicated to our planet that hosts us and that we must respect. Parallels and meridians surround the Chair and from here you have the impression of being at the center of the world! A unique feeling!

THE GIANT SWING

The Altalanga is the Giant Swing of Cossano Belbo!

This brand new artwork seems to come out of a magical case!

Immersed in the vineyards in the Langa Soprana area, it is dedicated to the well-known local D.O.C.G Sumante: the sparkling wines produced according to the Classic Method and from this beautiful location the view is wide and exciting!

CHAIR OF BACCHUS

In San Pietro di Cossano stands the Giant Chair dedicated to wINe!

Born as a tribute to the Cossanese wine production, it stands opposite the Roca Neira, a natural cave carved into the rock.

From here you can rest while admiring the famous sorí (in local dialect the term literally means sunny, exposed to the sun; the word is therefore used to indicate those areas of the territory particularly suited to viticulture) that characterize the beautiful countryside around Cossano.
